BOOKS 4 UMMAH : A Global Knowledge Community Development
The purpose of our BOOKS 4 UMMAH project is to build and sustain strong communities and create knowledge sharing opportunities globally.
- Identify and create strategies for FREE education and knowledge sharing.
- Develop new sources of capital and innovative knowledge development tools.
- Enhance the capacity of the global community development organizations to function more effectively.
- Effect significant improvements to the education and economic environments in the developing countries
We give priority to projects that:
- Foster collaboration among different community agencies, and government.
- Reflect a comprehensive approach to knowledge community development.
- Promote community resident participation and engagement.
- Serve as models for a wide audience of community development practitioners in the education.
